The Entonox Administration Training Course is designed for healthcare professionals who are involved in the provision of pain management. This course provides comprehensive instruction on the safe and effective use of Entonox (a 50:50 mixture of nitrous oxide and oxygen) for pain relief in various clinical settings.   • Preparation and Equipment: Instruction on the preparation of Entonox for use, including equipment setup, safety checks, and ensuring the correct mixture is administered.
  • Administration Techniques: Step-by-step guidance on how to administer Entonox effectively, including patient instructions for self-administration, monitoring usage, and ensuring patient safety during the procedure.
  • Patient Monitoring: Techniques for monitoring patients before, during, and after Entonox administration, including recognising signs of effective pain relief, potential side effects, and when to discontinue use.
  • Managing Side Effects and Complications: Identifying and managing potential side effects of Entonox, such as nausea, dizziness, or over-sedation, and understanding how to address complications if they arise.
