  • Insulin Storage and Handling: Best practices for the safe storage, handling, and disposal of insulin, ensuring its efficacy and safety.
  • Insulin Administration Techniques: Step-by-step guidance on the correct techniques for administering insulin, including site selection (abdomen, thigh, arm), rotating injection sites, and using insulin pens, syringes, and pumps.
  • Patient Education: How to educate and support patients in self-management of their diabetes, including insulin administration, dietary considerations, and lifestyle adjustments.
  • Managing Hypoglycaemia and Hyperglycaemia: Recognising the signs and symptoms of hypo- and hyperglycaemia, and how to respond effectively to prevent complications.
